Base, and the apps that run on it

Base keeps your customers, bookings, catalog and payments in one place. Four apps run on top of it: Chat, Desk, Knowledge and Social.

Not sure where to start? The A.C.T. Programme helps you find the first workflow worth changing.

How it fits together

One base, four apps

Base holds the records every app works from. Ask Base, the built-in assistant, works across all of them. A.C.T. is the programme we run with you when you want help deciding what to change first.

How the apps work together

One customer, four apps:

  1. A prospect sends a message

Chat identifies the intent, collects the details, updates the CRM and notifies the right salesperson.
  2. They ask a detailed product question

Desk answers using approved product knowledge organised in Knowledge, and escalates to a person when the question needs judgement.
  3. The salesperson prepares a proposal

Knowledge surfaces past proposals, pricing structure and account history in seconds.
  4. Marketing follows up

Social adapts an approved campaign for the prospect’s segment and routes it through brand review before it goes out.

Illustrative only.

Where to start

Start with the workflow, not the tool

The fastest route to value is rarely “deploy everything”. The Exodus A.C.T. Programme maps how work flows today, identifies the opportunities with the best balance of value, feasibility and risk, and recommends which app to start with.

Teams with a well-defined need — a service queue, a lead-handling gap, a knowledge problem — can also start directly with a product demo.

FAQ

Product FAQs

What does Exodus Markets offer?

Base, a business hub with four apps (Chat, Desk, Knowledge and Social), and the Exodus A.C.T. Programme, which helps you find and build your first AI wins.

Do we need every app?

No. You can start with one app and add others later. They share the same customer records, so they connect as you grow — for example, Desk answering customers from what is in Knowledge.

Where should we start?

Usually with the Exodus A.C.T. Programme, which maps current workflows, identifies where AI creates measurable value and recommends which app to start with. Teams with a clearly defined need can also start with a product demo.

Do Exodus products replace our existing systems?

No. They are designed to work alongside the systems a business already uses — document storage, CRM, messaging channels, helpdesk and marketing platforms — with specific integrations confirmed during implementation.

How do the products keep humans in control?

Every product is designed with human oversight: approved knowledge sources in Knowledge, handover to a person in Chat and Desk, and approval steps before publishing in Social.

What is the difference between Chat and Desk?

Chat is your team inbox for messaging apps and web chat. Desk is for customer service and calls. Both pass hard cases to a person, and both work from the same customer records in Base.
